The New England Patriots have found their new kicker. Justin Rohrwasser out of Marshall has joined the 6-time Super Bowl Champs. Coach Bill Belichick asserted that he watched a lot of film on Rohrwasser. He claimed the deciding factor was Rohrwasser’s experience and ability to kick in bad weather. Justin first started his career at the University of Rhode Island before transferring to Marshall University. He finished his senior season going 18-21 on field goal attempts. The highlight of his college career was kicking a game wining 53-yd field goal vs Western Kentucky. In this sequence Justin nailed the 53-yd field goal three times as he was “iced” twice by the opposing team.
