RSR Sports Management, LLC signs Noah Keller, Linebacker for Ohio University

RSR Sports Management, LLC is pleased to announce the signing of Noah Keller, linebacker from Ohio University for representation in the National Football League. Noah concluded his stellar career at Ohio University with 438 career tackles and 25.5 tackles for a loss. His career tackle total ranks him 6th on all-time Ohio University history. He was also a three-time captain for the Ohio University Bobcats. Noah will be training at Fischer Sports in Phoenix, Arizona in preparation for the upcoming NFL Draft. He is currently ranked as one of the top inside linebackers in the 2012 NFL Draft.

RSR Sports Management, LLC News and Notes from Week Three of the 2011 Preseason

Here are the highlights from RSR players in Week Three of the 2011 Preseason:

Steve Weatherford continues to drops bombs at the New Meadowlands Stadium. He is in a different uniform and they even changed the name of stadium to Met Life Stadium, however, the one constant is Steve’s stellar punting. On Monday night Steve had another great outing punting, netting 37. Yards per punt. Steve ranks 2nd in the NFL in net punting average with 44.3 yards per punt.

Mike Caussin had a great game in the Buffalo Bills win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had two receptions for 9 yards playing with the first team offense and also had some great blocks. Mike contributed two special teams tackles on kickoff and punt team. He continues to demonstrate his value as a tight end and special teams player.

Jeremy Kapinos had strong game in the Steelers win over the Falcons. He had a net punting average of 39.5 yards with one punt inside the 20-yard line. Jeremy has a 40-yard net average and a 46 yard gross punting average for the preseason with 3 punts inside the 20-yard line.

Neil Rackers kicked three field goals from 47, 27 and 30 yards and three Pat’s in the Texans victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He also had a monster night kicking off garnering two touchbacks.

Tanner Purdum had all great snaps against the Giants on Monday night. His coverage on punt team was clutch.

Marquice Cole had two tackles against the Giants. On 4th and 1 he stopped the Giants receiver from scoring, preserving the victory for the Jets. The Giants did not attempt a pass to Marquice’s side during the game. Marquice was also a force on special teams.

Conner Barth contributed a 28-yard field goal and one PAT in the Buccaneers victory over the Dolphins.

Josh Brown was solid again in the Rams victory over the Chiefs. He had two PAT’s and two touchbacks on kickoffs.

Week three was a great week for all of the RSR Sports Management, LLC clients. RSR is looking forward to the final preseason game and getting into the regular season.

RSR Sports Management, LLC News and Notes from Week Two of the 2011 Preseason

Here are the highlights from RSR players in Week Two of the 2011 Preseason:

The Titans learned that you cannot “ice” Josh Brown. With two seconds left in the game, Josh attempted and made a 42-yard field goal to win the game but the Titans had called a time-out prior to the snap of the ball. Josh lined up and piped the ball through the goal posts a second time for the Rams win.

Steve Weatherford had another stellar game for the New York Giants on Monday night against the Chicago Bears. He bombed a punt 57 yards with no return and also had a 42 -yard punt to the ten-yard line. Steve is 2nd in the NFL in Net punting average with 46.5 yards per punt and 4th in the league in gross punting average with 50.3. He also has 2 punts inside the 10 yard-line.

Mike Caussin of the Buffalo Bills had a great night blocking against the Denver Broncos. He manhandled his guy and had all positive assignments for the game.

Neil Rackers kicked two field goals from 49 yards and 40 yards and two Pat’s in the Texans victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Tanner Purdum had all great snaps in the pouring rain against the Bengals on Sunday night. He also got down the field in punt coverage.

Marquice Cole had one solo tackle against the Bengals. On special teams he was at the point of attack on kick-off and punt coverage.

Jack Corcoran turned in another solid blocking performance from the fullback position for the 49ers against the Raiders.

Jeremy Kapinos had a strong outing for the Steelers against the Eagles. The Steelers high-powered offense only allowed Kapinos to punt once for 44 yards.

Week three of the preseason should be another good one for all RSR Sports Management, LLC, players. RSR looks forward to sharing our client’s achievements with you next week.

RSR Sports Management, LLC News and Notes from Week One of 2011 Preseason

NFL Football is back and RSR clients enjoyed a spectacular first week of the preseason in the NFL. Here are just some tidbits from the RSR players this past week:

Josh Brown, Kicker for the St. Louis Rams, bombed a 60-yard field goal just before half and added other field goals from 53, 30, and 21 yards along with three PAT’s. Josh’s production was instrumental in the Rams victory over the Colts.

Mike Caussin of the Buffalo Bills turned in a great night against the Chicago Bears. He was a force blocking from the tight-end position. Mike looks forward to flashing his athleticism next week against the Denver Broncos.

Neil Rackers kicked two field goals from 47 yards and 49 yards and two Pat’s in the Texans victory over the New York Jets. Neil’s points were instrumental in the win and he is in midseason form.

Tanner Purdum was honored as one of the New York Jets Captains in their game against the Texans on Monday night. Tanner had perfect snaps in punts, field goals, and PAT’s.

Marquice Cole played tremendous defense against the explosive Texans offense and did not allow a pass to be completed to the receivers he was covering on Monday night. He was also a force on special teams.

Jack Corcoran turned in a solid performance from the fullback position for the 49ers against the Saints. He made solid blocks during the game.

Conner Barth kicked field goals of 25 and 40 yards and one PAT in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He was his steady self in helping the Bucs garner another win.

Steve Weatherford was dropping bombs in Carolina on Saturday night for the New York Giants. He punted 4 times for 204 yards with one punt inside the 20-yard line. Steve finished with a gross punting average of 51 yards and a net punting average of 45 yards. It looks like being in the Red and Blue agrees with Steve.

Jeremy Kapinos had a strong outing for the Steelers against the Redskins. Kapinos hit a 58-yard moon shot and average 49.8 yards per punt. Jeremy’s net average was an impressive 45 yards with 2 punts inside the 20-yard line.

Newly signed Brent Bowden with the Jacksonville Jaguars looks forward to Friday night’s game the Atlanta Falcons to show the NFL that he is back and better than ever.

Cole Brodie Visited the Falcons Today

RSR client Cole Brodie, a South Dakota State University defensive back and kick returner
visited the Atlanta Falcons today.

In addition to his visit with the Falcons, Brodie, a 2010 All Missouri
Valley Conference 1st-Team cornerback & 2nd-Team return specialist, will
visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on April 18.

At his pro-day last month, Brodie ran 4.41 and 4.43 in the 40-yard dash
and bench-pressed 225-pounds 16 times.

As a senior, Brodie had a career high five interceptions and returned
two of them for touchdowns. He also had 62 total tackles with 32 solo
and four tackles for a loss. Brodie also averaged 24.8 yards on 17
kickoff returns with a long of 64 yards and averaged 10.9 yards on 34
punt returns.

The Dacula, GA product will graduate in May with a degree in
agricultural business.

Brodie worked out with representatives of the Jets, Seahawks, Chargers, Panthers, Jaguards, Eagles, Cowboys, Texans, Dolphins, Patriots, Bengals, Saints and Bills.
