RSR Sports Management, LLC News and Notes from Week Two of the 2011 Preseason

Here are the highlights from RSR players in Week Two of the 2011 Preseason:

The Titans learned that you cannot “ice” Josh Brown. He bombed a punt 57 yards with no return and also had a 42 -yard punt to the ten-yard line. Steve is 2nd in the NFL in Net punting average with 46.5 yards per punt and 4th in the league in gross punting average with 50.3. He also has 2 punts inside the 10 yard-line.

Mike Caussin of the Buffalo Bills had a great night blocking against the Denver Broncos. He manhandled his guy and had all positive assignments for the game.

Neil Rackers kicked two field goals from 49 yards and 40 yards and two Pat’s in the Texans victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Tanner Purdum had all great snaps in the pouring rain against the Bengals on Sunday night. He also got down the field in punt coverage.

Marquice Cole had one solo tackle against the Bengals. On special teams he was at the point of attack on kick-off and punt coverage.

Jack Corcoran turned in another solid blocking performance from the fullback position for the 49ers against the Raiders.

Jeremy Kapinos had a strong outing for the Steelers against the Eagles. The Steelers high-powered offense only allowed Kapinos to punt once for 44 yards.
