Malik Hall
Head Football Coach - Bates College Malik Hall was hired in June, 2018 as the new Bates College Head Football Coach. He previously served for three seasons as the Defensive Line Coach for University of Pennsylvania. Malik started his coaching career at Central Connecticut in 2004, serving as the Defensive Line Coach. He then moved up the coaching ladder with stops at Hofstra University, Fordham, Wagner University, and the University of Massachusetts. Malik has coached defensive lineman as well as linebackers, and was the defensive coordinator at Wagner University. Malik brings to Bates College a blend of leadership and focus that he has learned from his previous coaching experiences. Malik grew up in Detroit, Michigan and played defensive line at Vermilion Community College in Northern Minnesota. He then starred at the University of Massachusetts. Malik is married to his wife Ayesha and they have three children. Malik enjoys the New England area and is happy to settle there with his family.
