BALTIMORE RAVENS - PK

In the 2019 Off-Season, RSR negotiated another record breaking contract for Pro Bowl Kicker, Justin Tucker. Justin signed a 4 year extension that ties him to Baltimore through the 2023 season. The deal constructed by RSR consists of the largest ever signing bonus for a specialist $8 million, $12.5 million of fully guaranteed money, a total of $9 million in the first year and a total value of $23.05 million. The first two years of Justin’s deal is fully guaranteed. Justin is having another stellar season and has been named to the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl.

Under the guidance and direction of RSR, Justin Tucker went from an undrafted rookie with a $0 signing bonus to the highest paid kicker in the NFL. The Ravens put their franchise tag on Justin, requiring a July 15, 2016, deadline to execute a long-term deal. Otherwise, Justin would play on a one-year franchise tender. At the deadline, RSR negotiated a record-breaking four-year $16.8 million contract with a $6 million signing bonus. RSR landed Justin a record-breaking $10.8 million fully guaranteed, the most ever for a kicker. The total payout in the first three years is the highest ever for an NFL kicker. In 2015, Justin made 33 out of 44 field goals, and all 29 extra points attempted. He finished the season becoming the second faster kicker in NFL history to score 500 points in a career, and he became the second-most accurate kicker of all time.

In his second season, Justin was named the 2013 NFL All-Pro Kicker and was selected to his first Pro Bowl for his performance. He was 38 for 41 on field goals (92.7%) and tied for the NFL lead with both 38 made field goals and six field goals over 50-plus yards. Justin became the first player in NFL history to kick field goals in the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s in the same game. During a Monday night battle against the Detroit Lions, he kicked a 61-yard game-winning field goal, which not only was a personal and franchise record, but also the NFL record for the longest field goal in a domed stadium. Justin was also the only kicker in the NFL with multiple games with at least five successful field goals in 2013. During that season, Justin had a streak of 33 consecutive made field goals and was then voted first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

When Justin finished his final season at the University of Texas, RSR immediately mapped out his journey. Prior to the 2012 NFL Draft, RSR identified the Baltimore Ravens as the best opportunity for Justin to win a starting kicking spot in the NFL. RSR used its close contacts with the Ravens’ executives and coaches to provoke them to evaluate Justin and his ability to make clutch field goals, something the Ravens lacked with their incumbent kicker. The Ravens recognized Justin’s value, and signed him to challenge for the placekicking job. Justin then excelled in training camp and preseason games to win the spot.

Justin’s rookie season was also record-breaking. He made 30 of 33 field goals, making 90.9 percent of his kicks to rank second in Ravens single-season history and second by a rookie kicker in NFL history. Justin also hit two game-winning field goals in the regular season, one against the New England Patriots during Week 3 and again against the San Diego Chargers in overtime during Week 11. On January 12, 2013, in a second-round playoff game against the Denver Broncos, he kicked a 47-yard field goal in double-overtime to win the game and send the Ravens to the AFC Championship Game for the second consecutive year. Justin was two for two on field goals and perfect on extra points in Super Bowl XLVII, helping the Ravens become Super Bowl champions.
