““In the past five years Rob has become more
than an agent, he has become a life-long friend.
His leadership and guidance have helped me
reach major milestones in my journey to master
my craft and become the best kicker in the NFL.
Without Rob and his staff of coaches, our most
recent NFL record-breaking contract would have
not been possible.”

RSR Sports Management negotiated a landmark free agent contract with
the St. Louis Rams at the outset of free agency for Josh Brown. Josh’s
contract makes him the highest paid specialist in the history of the NFL.
This unprecedented contract negotiated by RSR pays him $14.2 million over
five years, with a $4 million signing bonus. Both figures are the highest or
a kicker or a specialist in the history of the NFL. His average annual salary
is an astonishing $2.84 million per year, which is also a record for an NFL
specialist. Josh was the first kicker in the history of the league to sign a
contract on the first weekend of free agency.
In 2007, for only the third time in NFL history, a place-kicker was named
a Franchise Player by an NFL team. This happened when Josh was so
designated by the Seattle Seahawks. After a tremendous 2006 season
where Josh kicked an NFL record of four game-winning field goals, Josh
was named a Pro Bowl alternate for the third time in his career. After
this, Josh signed a one-year franchise tender contract of $2.078 million
with the Seattle Seahawks.
Josh and RSR have reached new heights since their relationship began
after his senior season at the University of Nebraska. In the 2003 NFL
Draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected Josh as the eighth pick in the
seventh round (222nd overall). The selection marked only the third time
the Seahawks picked a kicker in the draft. In fact, Josh was the only kicker
selected in the entire 2003 NFL Draft.
RSR Sports Management worked diligently to prepare Josh for the NFL
Combine and the rigors of an NFL season. Trainer Fred Pinciaro of 4th
Down Sports was brought in by RSR to challenge Josh with a regimented
program. RSR’s plan worked. Josh was the First Team All Rookie selection
for the 2003 NFL season. In his five years in the NFL, Josh was named a
Pro Bowl alternate three times and has led the Seahawks in scoring all five seasons.
RSR Sports Management set Josh up for success early in his career and provided him with the desired result - the largest contract ever for a kicker in the history of the NFL.
