Seppo, is a right guard on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad. He played with the Cologne Centurions of the NFL Europe League during teh 2007 season. During the NFL Europe season, Seppo displayed the rare combination of speed and power in a lineman. He paved the way for NFL Europe's leading rusher Derrick Ross.
Seppo is a punishing right guard/tackle and is from the University of Nebraska. Seppo capped a distinguished career for the Huskers, playing right tackle for the final two years of his career after playing his first two years at the defensive tackle position. While at Nebraska, Seppo paved the way for another RSR client in running back Cory Ross. With Seppo opening the holes, Cory rushed for over 1,000 yards his junior season.
RSR recognized that Seppo, a native of Finland, needed developmental after playing only two years at right tackle. RSR arranged for Seppo to enter the NFL Europa’s International Football Program. He starts at right guard for the Cologne Centurions in NFL Europa. After playing one season in NFL Europe, he will then be guaranteed a practice squad spot on an NFL Team during the entire NFL season.
RSR once again tailored its formula for success to the needs of its client. In this case, that meant playing football in another country for one of its unique athletes.
