Cleveland Browns - Kicker
Chase McLaughlin currently kicks for the Cleveland Browns. Prior to the browns, the New York Jets claimed Chase off waivers to finish the 2020 season. Prior to heading to New York, Chase kicked for Jacksonville. In his first game with the club, Chase drilled a 52-yard field goal. Previously Chase kicked for the Colts, Bills, Vikings, Chargers, and 49ers. RSR positioned the undrafted kicker out of the University of Illinois to sign with the Buffalo Bills following the conclusion of the 2019 NFL draft. Chase excelled in the preseason with the Bills. After being released by the Bills, RSR used its connections and assisted Chase in signing with Minnesota Vikings practice after the roster cutdown. Chase was the only kicker in the NFL on a practice squad at the time. With RSR alongside, Chase then headed to LA to kick for the Los Angeles Chargers during weeks 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the 2019 regular season. While with the LA Chargers, Chase went 6 for 9 connecting on field goals from 45 and 50 yards out. After being released by the Chargers due to their incumbent kicker returning from injury, RSR placed Chase on the San Francisco 49ers. Against the Seahawks, Chase made a game-tying 47-yard field goal to send the game to overtime on Monday Night Football. Chase currently kicks for the Indianapolis Colts where he finished the season going 5 for 6 with a 50 yarder.
RSR believes that Chase is the next young talented kicker that the RSR firm has brought into the NFL ranks.
