RSR Sports Management has joined forces with Glenn Williams of WVentures, LLC on “Good For 3”, an RSR Sports Management marketing property venture. Officially adding Williams to the RSR team is a further testament to RSR’s commitment to excellence. Glenn will serve on the RSR Sports Management Board of Advisors.
Glenn is a highly motivated decision maker with a positive, optimistic outlook, demonstrated integrity and a passion for the business of sports. He is a 20-year veteran, recently completing a successful seven plus year odyssey with a global technology and communications company that included generating over $2 billion in capital and strategic alliances with many of the titans of business such as Yahoo, AOL, Microsoft, Cisco and LG. Glenn is a licensed attorney who served as counsel to the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, the operator of New Jersey’s premier sports destination the Meadowlands Sports Complex. During his tenure as counsel to the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, he was involved in various aspects of the sports business including the expansion of Giants Stadium, the multi-year, multi-million dollar Continental Airlines Arena deal - one of the sports industry’s early venue naming rights deals, as well as strategic alliances with industry notables such as Phillip Morris, Anheuser Busch and Coca Cola, and professional sports teams - Giants, Jets, Nets and Devils.
Glenn’s passion for the business of sports dates back many years. He served as the Editor in Chief of the Seton Hall University School of Law’s Sports Law Journal, was awarded the Sports Law Fellowship, has written on various sports law subjects including an analysis of a proposed league structure for the Australian Professional Baseball League sponsored by Pepsi, and has been involved in various sports law symposia over the years.
In his spare time, Glenn serves as a member of the Seton Hall Law Board of Visitors, President of the Hackettstown High School Baseball Booster Association, is past President of a regional board of education, past Vice President of a local recreation commission, and continues to coach youth sports.
